This seminar will provide a platform for exploring trends and challenges of the future of work as well as searching and creating cross-sectoral responses to future needs.

ABOUT [email protected] PARTNERSHIP

In 2018, a consortium of 11 Erasmus+/Youth National Agencies (NAs) and 4 SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres decided to take a new approach to support employability and entrepreneurship amongst young people and professionals. They, therefore, launched the [email protected] Strategic Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship, with the aim to better address these areas by working collaboratively, based on a common strategy.

[email protected] is an alliance of the NAs of Turkey (the leading NA), Cyprus, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Spain, and the UK, with the support of the SALTO-YOUTH Eastern Europe and Caucasus (Poland), Euromed and Good Practices (France), South-East Europe (Slovenia) and Training and Cooperation (Germany) Resource Centres. It runs from January 2018 to December 2020, when the Erasmus+ Programme ends.


To offer a space for exchange for representatives from different sectors including, policy, practice and research, to explore the trends, challenges and responses on the future of work for young people. It also aims to explore the potential for cooperation and networking amongst different sectors.

Questions to be explored:

  • Explore and map the trends and challenges different types of actor identify in terms of future of Work from the perspective of their field
  • Discuss how youth work  relates to the future of work– within the wider ecosystem of actors?
  • Elaborate on the COVID-19 pandemic impact on all sectors and discuss the direction and magnitude of change.
  • Critically assess the issue of Social Inclusion and empowerment of the workforce and discuss a diversity of issues of well-being; work-life balance…
  • Explore and learn about the responses of different actors and sectors to the current and future trends and challenges
  • Assess the responses and interventions by  policy and practice
  • To inform participants about [email protected] and its role within youth employability and entrepreneurship.
  • To communicate the achievements, action plans and recommendations of the [email protected] Partnership.


This event is open to a wide and diverse group of participants that will include the international EU, national, regional and grass-roots levels in order to reflect the necessary breadth of input.
